BMI Categories for Indians:

  • Underweight = 19 or lower

  • Normal body weight = 19-22.9

  • Overweight = 23-24.9

  • Obese = 25-29.9

  • Severe obesity = 30-32.5

  • Grossly obese = BMI of 32.5 or greater
